It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum, Nana and Great Nana, Betty. She died peacefully and surrounded by all her family on Friday 7th November 2025, at The Manor House Care Home, aged 92 years. Born on 10th August 1933, to parents Isabelle and Richard Mellin, Betty lived and was brought up in the Slaidburn area with her four siblings and became a cherished and valued member of the local community. Betty was a friend to all and lived a full and vibrant life, always filled with love and laughter. We will never forget her kindness and sense of humour and the many precious memories we all have of her. Betty will be sadly missed, but we know her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
