Peter died peacefully at home on 8 January. He is much missed by Ruth, his wife of 68 years, son Jamie, daughter Sophie, and family and friends. Thank you for your kind messages of sympathy.
We would love you to join us to remember Peter, and celebrate his life, at his funeral on Friday 27 February at St Mary's Church, Long Ditton, followed by a burial at Long Ditton Cemetery opposite should you wish to attend. There will be a reception right afterwards in The Snug of The Plough & Harrow pub at 64 Ditton Hill Road, a short walk away; all are welcome. Free parking is available at the cemetery or surrounding streets, with a few spots outside the pub. Surbiton, the nearest train station, has a taxi rank. Restrooms are in the community hall just behind the church.
No need to wear black; family flowers only. Cash collection envelopes during the service will support Peter's local church St Mary's or if you wish to make an online donation in his name please give to the charity he helped found, Asthma + Lung UK (asthmaandlung.org.uk). Feel free to share an entry in a book of condolence at the wake.
