It is with great sadness I write to inform you of the passing of Sylvia June Newman on the 8th February 2025 in York District Hospital age 95 .
Sylvia was an amazing woman and truly did get the most out of life , everyone who spent time with her can probably tell you a few stories about her and her no nonsense approach to pretty much every thing.
She will be leaving a huge whole which can never be filled in many peoples lives but in her own words would say 'you just need to get on with it '
