It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David (Dave) Averiss, much loved husband to Hilary,  father figure to Steve and Zoe and an awesome Grandad to Jack and Emily.

Dave was the most amazing person, with some funny ways, but he had a heart of gold and would always help anybody out. Dave was often seen out and about fixing doors and windows around Falmouth and in his spare time he loved making jam, building his model railway and sadly passed away on 8th May 2025 on his way to go fishing, something else he loved to do. 

Please come and join us in giving Dave the send off he deserves, wear what feels comfortable, no flowers please but if you'd like to make a donation in lieu of flowers then please donate to the Cornwall Air Ambulance, in his honour and in the hope that we can assist them to continue their awesome work.
