It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Peden, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished friend, and a woman of extraordinary talent and resilience. Diana passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of determination, creativity, and unwavering strength.

Diana’s warmth and unwavering dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life. She was a beacon of positivity, always finding joy in the simple moments and sharing her love generously. Her wisdom, grace, and laughter touched everyone she met, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In her younger years, Diana’s remarkable voice took her to the stage, where she rose to stardom performing alongside Sir Cliff Richard and Johnny Duncan in the early 1960s. Her artistic passions extended beyond music; she also worked as a Highland and ballroom dancing instructress, sharing her grace and talent with others. Later, Diana discovered her flair for hairdressing, forging a successful career that highlighted her creativity and dedication.

Diana was the epitome of resilience and determination, facing life’s challenges with courage and an unyielding spirit. She approached every role in her life—with mother, mentor, and friend being her most cherished—with love and generosity.

She is survived by her son Leslie, daughter-in-law Layla, daughter Debbie, son-in-law Justin, grandson’s Kyle, and Colton, and great grandchildren Blakely and Ryla who will forever treasure her guidance, love, and endless support. Diana’s legacy will continue to shine brightly through all who were touched by her remarkable journey.

A celebration of Diana’s life will be held following the service at The Warnham Barn, Rookwood Golf Club, Robin Hood Lane, Horsham, RH12 3RR from 2pm, where family and friends are invited to honor her memory and share stories of her vibrant life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Catherines Hospice or British Heart Foundation, ensuring her enduring impact on the world she loved so dearly and in support of her courageous health battle over the years.
