It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Julian Havard aged 66. Trevor was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whose intelligence, dark wit, and immense capacity for love left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met.
Trevor dedicated his professional life to the pursuit of knowledge as a passionate scientist, embraced new technological innovations and AI before others had considered them, and was very proud of being a successful business owner in a specialised industry. His deep love for science extended into his personal life, particularly through his appreciation for science fiction, with the film Blade Runner being a cherished favourite. He was also a coach to many in various aspects of his life, especially in the art of kicking a football correctly.
A man of great passions. Trevor was perhaps best known for his hilarious dark sense of humour, (it was sometimes very inappropriate!!), his unwavering support for Tottenham Hospur which was a life-long commitment and his love for exploring the river on his boat. He also had an amazing eclectic taste in music and took great joy in making delicious meals for his friends and family.
He carried an unerring sense of belief that he was always right and would argue until the cows came home when others had long lost interest and didn’t care anymore! He wanted to create a safe and secure haven for his family even though it included some very dubious DIY skills, but it was all driven by the deep devotion he had for his beloved wife, Bridget, whose partnership was the cornerstone of his life.
Trevor leaves behind his loving wife, Bridget, their four children, Simon, Sebastian, Christopher, and Victoria, his brother John; and his beautiful grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two faithful canine companions, Rose and Millie, who were always by his side.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share his warmth and infectious humour. COYS! (You will never walk alone.)
The family suggest that if you would like to make a charitable donation in his name, that it be directed to The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity which supported Trevor and his family during his illness.
