Blanche passed away peacefully on Tuesday 9th December 2025 at Waterloo House Care Home, aged 93. She had been a cherished Resident of the Waterloo House family for the past five years, where she was cared for with great love, dignity, and compassion.
Blanche will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humour that brought smiles and laughter to those around her, and she loved to sing and spend time reading her Bible, which brought her comfort and joy. Her warm spirit, kindness, and faith touched the lives of residents and staff alike.
She was deeply loved by all the care staff at Waterloo House and will be remembered fondly for the happiness she brought into the home. Blanche leaves behind many treasured memories and will remain in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Donations, if desired, may be made to Waterloo House Care Home, in appreciation of the care and support provided to Blanche during her time there.
