In loving memory of Anthony George Alfred (Tony) White, who sadly passed April 10th 2024, aged 91.
He will be dearly missed by all of his family and many friends. A loving husband to Pat, brother to Audrey, doting Grandpa to Ewan, Luke, Theo and Megan and super Dad to Duncan and Rob.
Born in Watford, Tony lived in Stevenage for more than 60 years. Following a distinguished career as an aeronautical engineer he enjoyed a long and happy retirement following his many interests and hobbies, spending time with the family and friends. He always made time for people, treated all with respect and was great company, full of stories from his voyages in the world.
He always talked fondly about his travels with Pat, their time living in California, visits to Indonesia and Australia and their many holidays with fantastic friends in the UK and Europe.
Tony embraced knowledge and pursued a lifelong interest in science, the arts, food, music and literature. Kind and caring, anyone who knew him will have lasting memories of his warmth, wit and humour; a lovely man
