Gino / Dad / Grandad, aged 61, passed away peacefully on 10th April at his home in Stratford Upon Avon. He was born on 27th February 1963 in Quezon City, Philippines. He ventured to the UK in 1985 where he stayed and built his family.
Known for his extravagant lifestyle, rock star moments and his exceptional artistic talent and prodigious drawing skills, Dad embraced every corner of the globe, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. His magnetic personality drew people from all walks of life, creating a diverse and vibrant community around him.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Dad had a deep affection for cars. A true enthusiast, he revelled in the beauty and craftsmanship of cars, amassing a collection that reflected his discerning taste and adventurous spirit.
Despite the passing years, Dad retained a youthful personality, often seeing himself in his early 20s, a testament to his zest for life and refusal to conform to conventional expectations of aging.
A true maverick, Dad lived life to the fullest, embodying intelligence, compassion, and boundless curiosity. Despite the miles that separated him from his roots, he cultivated a large and loving family in the UK, a testament to his enduring spirit and capacity for love.
Dad’s absence leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, yet his memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. His legacy of adventure, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his remarkable journey.
A funeral will be held on 10th May 2024 13:30pm at Oakley Wood. Please can we ask everyone to bring a single yellow rose to place on his coffin in remembrance. Donations can be made to The British Heart Foundation.
