In Loving Memory of Alan Marchant

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved Dad, Alan Marchant, who passed away on 10th August 2026.

 

Alan was a dearly loved father and a cherished part of his family. He will be remembered with great affection for the love, kindness and memories he shared with those around him.

 

Alan is now reunited with his beloved wife, Lorna, who sadly passed away last year. 

 

He leaves behind his daughters, Andrea and Yvonne, and their families, who will miss him more than words can say.

 

Alan was much loved by family and friends alike and will be deeply missed. He will always remain in our hearts and in the many happy memories we hold of him.

 

Rest in peace, Dad. Forever loved, forever missed.

In accordance with Dad's wishes flowers from family only please. Donations to St Luke's Hospice, Basildon would be very much appreciated in gratitude for the most amazing care Dad received there in his final days.
There will not be a donation box in the chapel so please use one of the link boxes at the top and bottom of this page to donate. 
Dad would have wanted everyone to be comfortable so please feel free to wear whatever you feel appropriate while of course maintaining respect.
