Mr Herman Adolphus Walker

4th June 1940 - 10th October 2025

Herman Walker, aged 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on the 10th October 2025.

Herman was born on the 4th June 1940 in Georges Plain, Westmoreland, Jamaica. In August 1959 he made the journey to England and subsequently made Wolverhampton his forever home. 

Herman would meet his wife, June and be married by 1961, they went on to have 5 children together, David, Vincent, Mark, Louise and Vanessa as well as having 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who will thoroughly miss him very much. 

Herman will be remembered for his passion for all different sports and teams, especially Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club and the West Indian Cricket Team. 

Herman was known for his love of animals, especially Rex, his German Shepard. As well as this, his love for music, especially reggae was a big part of his life and finally his gardening skills, where he won awards he was extremely proud of, displaying them as one of his most prized possessions.
