John Richard Veitch, formally of Newcastle upon Tyne and Whitehaven sadly passed away on 10th October 2026, aged 96.
John lived a long and happy life filled with lots of love and laughter. He was a loving husband to his late wife Liz, with whom he spent many wonderful years. He was a great father to Joanne and Alex, as well as a cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law and friend.
John also brought immense joy to those around him and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family requests family flowers only. If you wish to make a contribution in John's memory, donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer UK, a cause very close to the family's heart.
John's funeral will take place at 11.30am on 11th November 2026 at Cam Valley Crematorium.
