It is with great sadness that we share that our Mum, Margaret, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on April 11th 2026, aged 85.
She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her three children, her grandchildren, and her many friends and extended family. She lived a quiet, steady life, devoted to her family, always trying to do the right thing. She cared for others selflessly, especially in looking after our dad in his later years, and took great pride in supporting her children and grandchildren. She found enjoyment in simple things — her garden, tai chi, her love of science fiction, and technology.
Her funeral will take place at St. Anne’s RC Church, Ormskirk, on Tuesday 5th May at 10:30am, followed by the committal at West Lancashire Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations if so desired can be made to St Annes Catholic Church Roof.
A reception will be held at The Aviary, Blindmans Lane, afterwards, and all are very welcome. If you are thinking of joining us for the reception, it would really help if you could let the family know how many will be coming.
