Pat was born Patricia Ann McCusker on 16th July 1951 to parents Eric and Charlotte of King's Lynn, Norfolk. The family later welcomed Maggi and Peter who sadly died in childhood.
She attended St Martha's RC School, followed by Alderman Catleugh Secondary and Norfolk College of Arts and Technology. Her first job was secretary to the Engineering Dept. at Campbell's Soups, moving to Foster Refrigerator UK Ltd as PA to the Sales Director in 1973. It was here she met Mike Humphrey who joined shortly after as Marketing Services Manager. Two years later they were married at the Holy Family Church, King's Lynn and embarked on 50 years of wedded bliss.
This happy state was complemented by the arrival of Amee in '78, Jennie in '81 and Tom in '82. The years passed happily with a move in the mid '80s to Gloucestershire and later to Huntingdon in 2008 where Amee and Andrew welcomed Rosie, Harry and Alistair.
Further family joy arrived in 2017 when Jennie and Barry welcomed daughter Esme and Eloise. Just when you thought it couldn't get better Tom married our lovely daughter in law Shelley in 2021. And of course Amee's foster children Megan, Charlotte and Don'eisha.
Pat's passions over the years have included music from Bowie to Bach with shared love of theatre, especially musicals; local history and genealogy; rugby union and entertaining; Lottie the lab and travel.
Together Pat and Mike enjoyed many holidays from Franc and Italy to Egypt and the USA and, nearer to home Liverpool, Lyme Regis, North Norfolk and Northumberland.
Her late years have been clouded by Alzheimer's but she somehow maintained her spark and her lovely smile. She has been much loved and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
“God bless Pat”.
