John "Ian" Clelland Duncan, aged 87 years, peacefully passed away on Saturday 11th October 2025 surrounded by his family. Ian will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A loving husband, dad and grandpa, Ian was known for his kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit. He had a rich life, from serving in the Merchant Navy, to raising a family in South Africa, managing pubs in the UK, and retiring with his wife, Jean, in Cyprus for several years, until eventually returning to the UK. Ian is survived by his wife, Jean, daughter, Fiona, grandchildren, Callum, Jack and Skye and his brother, Ronnie.
The Funeral Service is to take place on Monday 10th November at 2pm at West Wiltshire Crematorium in Semington. The family would appreciate donations if desired to Children In need.
Everyone is welcome to join the Family after the Service at the Moonraker Hotel In Trowbridge for light refreshments.
