Sharon Lyn Nash (née Pestridge, formerly Cartwright), born on 19th February 1959 in Sutton Coldfield, passed away peacefully on 11th November 2024. Sharon spent her entire life in Sutton Coldfield, though she cherished her holidays in Brean, Somerset, where she created many fond memories. A devoted mother to her daughter Samantha and son Alex, and a loving grandmother to her grandson Axl, Sharon was also a cherished sister among her seven siblings.
Sharon was a spirited and compassionate soul who brought joy to everyone she met. Known for her infectious laughter and love of life, she thrived as a lunchtime supervisor, a role that allowed her to nurture and connect with children. Though her dream was to be a midwife, Sharon's caring nature touched countless lives in her community. From her youthful love of horse riding to her knack for dressing up in fancy dress and pulling pranks, she was truly the life of the party. Sharon will be remembered for her selflessness, her wisdom, and her ability to lift the spirits of those around her. Her vibrant presence and boundless love will be dearly missed.
