After a short battle with cancer, Robert (Bobbers) Powell our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and dear Friend sadly passed on the 12th February 2025 at the young age of 77.
Robert William Victor Powell was born on the 2nd july 1947 to Victor and Gwlady's (Bunty) Powell. He faced his challenges throughout his life but never let that affect how he supported and loved the people around him.
He is survived by his Wife of 55 years Patricia Powell, who he spent his whole life being infatuated with and even in the hardest of times ensured she never wanted for anything, His three children Jason, Tina and John and his eight grandchildren who he adored dearly.
Bobbers was a dog dad to two australian terriers, Buddy and Toffee, who he has gone to meet in the next life. Buddy and Toffee where spoilt and Bob loved them more than anything.
He was a passionate man, especially when it came to his woodturning, having an extreme talent for making anything from a few slabs of wood.
He will be dearly missed by all.
Please join us to celebrate his life after the service at The Globe newbury, Bob's favourite colour was Blue so smart casual in any shade of blue would be appreciated.
