It is with deep sadness that we must share details of the death and funeral of Diane Barker. Diane passed away at Basildon Hospital on Sunday the 12th of April at 66 years old, following an extremely hard fought battle against cancer.
Born in Fiji in 1959, Diane spent the majority of her life in Laindon, Basildon and Pitsea with her family. Loving wife of the late John and mother to three sons; William, Michael and Richard and their partners who were all honoured to be part of Diane's life. Treasured daughter of Kit and George Harding and beloved younger sister of Elaine.
Diane will leave behind a void in the lives of all who knew her, but also plenty of precious memories.
Funeral service to take place at Basildon Crematorium (Gardenside) on Friday the 1st of May, at 10:30am. No flowers please, donations preferred for Cancer Research UK.
