Sam sadly passed away on Monday 12th May 2025 and will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him. If you are able to join us in celebrating his life the details are below.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be warmly received by St Peter and St James Hospice, who helped Sam and his family greatly.
The family invite you to join them after the service to continue sharing memories of Sam at The Bent Arms.
At Sam's request the occasion will be strictly secular and, though he would doubtless support the freedom of everyone to make their individual sartorial choices, he indicated that he would prefer colour over the more traditional black. Any of the tricolours of his beloved France and his birthplace of Ireland would be especially appreciated.
