Mr Colin Hignell

5th December 1967- 12th August 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpectedly passing of Colin Hignell at home on the 12th August 2025.

Colin was a loving, caring and irreplaceable partner of Maggie, loving son to Jean Hignell and an adored stepdad to Liza. Wonderful brother to Stuart and Martin and brother-in-law to Becca and Lee. Proud uncle of Rhys, Owen and Lewis. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and will be forever in our hearts.

Funeral to be held on Tuesday 9th September at 15.15 at Coychurch crematorium. Wake to follow at Llantwit Major rugby club.

Anyone who wishes to remember Colin and pay their respects is warmly welcome to attend the service.

The family have asked for no black attire and to either wear red or a daffodil please. If anyone would like to bring their darts and have a game in Colin's memory please feel free to do so.

Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the British Heart foundation.
