Tom sadly passed away on 12th October 2025 at the age of 48 years.
For those attending the funeral, there is no dress code, wear what you feel comfortable in, it's what Tom always did, a farmer, who was one of the few who never wore the 'farmer uniform'.
Please may we also request that if you have any photos of Tom that you love, or photos that remind you of Tom, bring a copy to the Celebration of Life at The Full Moon, Morton NG25 OUT (all welcome to raise a glass or two to Tom) for the photo board, write on the back a memory, or don't, but we would love to see Tom through all of his life and tell stories, that his children may not have heard (rude or not!)
There will also be a memory book at the pub, we would be grateful if you were able to share some words x

Donations in lieu of flowers will be to two charities.
The just giving page on this notice will be for John Eastwood Hospice and there will also be a collection at the crematorium and Celebration of Life for Cancer Research UK.

Cancer impacts so many people in so many different ways, it is brutal and unforgiving, it destroys people and families, there is so much more research that needs doing into ALL cancers, Oesophagal cancer is little known, is rarely diagnosed until the cancer is at advanced stages and has an incredibly high mortality rate, Cancer research needs funds in order to carry on educating, researching and innovating in order to reduce cancer related deaths.

John Eastwood Hospice is a local charity that offers restbite and palliative care, they have incredible staff, who are caring and supportive, we were lucky enough to be able to have a cuddle bed, which meant that every night whilst Tom was there I was able to sleep next to him, these beds cost approx £14000 each and they only have one or 2.
