It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maralyn Marshall, who sadly left us on Wednesday, 12th November 2025 in Barnsley District General Hospital, aged 73 years.
Maralyn was a much loved Wife, Mother and Grandmother who will be greatly missed.
As Christmas was Maralyn's magical time of the year, we kindly ask everyone to wear black and white with a touch of Christmas - whether it's a small festive accessory, a hint of sparkle, or something that reflects the season Maralyn loved and cherished.
A Service to celebrate Maralyn's wonderful life will take place on Friday, 5th December, at 9:30am at Barnsley Crematorium.
Following the service, food and refreshments will be available at Audrey's Deli in Darfield. You are warmly invited to join us there for a time of sharing memories of our beautiful mum, wife and Nanan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maralyn's memory can be made to Cancer Research UK.
