Kate passed away at home on Saturday 13th January 2024. Beloved wife of Malcolm (deceased), a loving mum to Patrick and Alastair and a much loved grandmother to Molly, Jack, Georgia, and Oscar. She will be sadly missed by her family and wide circle of friends both in the UK and around the world, particularly in Singapore. Kate studied drama at university in Hull and went on to become the drama critic for the Straits Times in Singapore before building a very successful career in advertising. Following retirement she made her home in Corton where she was actively involved in various charities, most notably the Lowestoft Food Bank.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Cambridge Crematorium followed by a reception in Madingley. All are welcome to attend. For those who wish to do so, the family is encouraging donations to Cancer Research UK rather than sending flowers.
