Arthur Cyril Godwin died peacefully at Stoke Mandeville Hospital on 13th September 2024 aged 82 years. Arthur will be very much missed by all his family, friends and everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him.
The family will be Celebrating Arthur's life during a service at Holy Trinity Church Prestwood (134 Wycombe Road, Prestwood, Gt Missenden, Bucks, HP16 0HJ ) on 11th October at 1.30pm to which you are warmly invited, with more colourful attire instead of black ties appreciated.
During the Reception after at The Polecat Inn (details below) Ann would also love you to write about a fond memory and/or share a photo in Arthur's memory book, so please do come prepared!
The Polecat have been generous in allowing the family to use their restaurant for your time together directly after the service, but they will need to set up for their evening dinner service at around 5.30pm. There will be light finger buffet available but if you have any dietary requirements, other than vegetarian/vegan please do let Hilary know on 07956 381004.
The family would prefer no flowers but donations would be appreciated to the Chilterns Neuro Centre (previously named the Multiple Sclerosis Centre, Wendover) where for many years Arthur attended weekly for support and physio.
