With heavy hearts we wanted to let you know that our beloved Hedley passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13th, 2025.
He was such a loving fixture in all our lives—as a husband, dad, and grandad—and we know so many of you will miss him too. We hope you can join his family and friends for a true celebration of his life. Everyone is welcome.
There’s absolutely no need for formal wear. In fact, please do wear something with a splash of colour if you wish.
After the service, we hope that you can join us for refreshments at McCarthy Stone Retirement Home, Norton Place, 74 Icknield Way, Baldock, Hertfordshire, SG7 5FH. Unfortunately visitor parking is very limited but should be possible on Icknield Way or nearby in Church Street.
For those who can't be with us, we'll be sharing the service online; the streaming information is included below.
We would be grateful for donations in Hedley's memory to the Garden House Hospice in lieu of flowers if you wish.
