It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the death of Michael on Wednesday 14th February 2024.
Beloved husband of Jan and cherished father of Gerry and Jessica. Adored Bompa to his grandchildren Ophelia, Henry, Hugo, Violette, Clara and Aoife. Our hearts are truely broken.
He was a devoted brother and much loved by his extended family and dearest friends.
Michael was a retired Dental Surgeon with practices in South Benfleet and Canvey Island. He was much respected by his patients and peers alike and devoted his working life to NHS Dentistry.
Michael's funeral will take place at 10.45am at Our Lady of Lourdes and St Joseph Church in Leigh on Sea, on Wednesday 20th March 2024 followed by a private cremation.
A celebration of his life will then follow from 1pm at The Boatyard Restaurant in Leigh Old Town.
Michael, you were a truely remarkable person and you will forever be in our hearts.
Thank you for the wonderful care Michael received for so many years from a very special consultant cardiologist and more recently from the heart failure team and community nurses.
Family flowers only please.
