It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Melvin Haines, who left us peacefully at the age of 87 years on Saturday 14th March 2026 at the Royal Gwent Hospital. Brian will be remembered for his spirit, his devotion to those around him, and the many lives he touched with kindness.
Brian's life was rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will remain in our hearts forever. His legacy lives on through the family and friends who hold him dearly.
The service will take place on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 11:30 am at Langstone Vale Crematorium.
Flowers are welcome; the donations in lieu can be made to Dementia UK or Prostate Cancer UK, an act of kindness in Brian's memory.
After the funeral service, please do join the family at the Maindee Hotel to share memories of Brian over a drink.
