It is with great sadness that we announce that Julie Newlan passed away peacefully on 14th March at home, surrounded by her family.
Julie was one of a kind. She built a big life with deep roots, full of warmth and laughter. She forged a career she loved at the University of Hertfordshire, built lasting and meaningful friendships and created a family who couldn't have loved her more.
We will miss her infectious smile, her dark sense of humour, and her constant desire to help those she loved.
Please join us in celebrating her life in the town she loved.
A service will be held at St Nicolas Church, Harpenden, on Wednesday 15th April at 1:00pm (please arrive from 12:45pm).
A private family cremation will follow.
All are warmly invited to join the family afterwards for refreshments at The Silver Cup, Harpenden, immediately after the service. The family will join following the cremation.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, in Julie’s memory to Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
