Trevor Neal Tomkins, 77, of Pidley, Cambridgeshire passed from this life to the next on 14 May 2024 with Patricia and Joseph by his side.
Trevor was born on 27 January 1947 to Harold and Ivy Tomkins in Hinckley, Leicestershire. He is preceded in death by his sister Pauline of Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire and is survived by his sister Hillary of Massachusetts, United States.
In 1973, Trevor met and married the love of his life, Patricia Norman Tomkins in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. After establishing their life in Leicester, Trev and Pat welcomed premature twins Gareth and Rachel who sadly passed away in 1979.
A few years later, in 1983, Joseph was born in Truro, Cornwall where the Tomkins family remained until taking a leap of faith and embarking on an adventure to relocate to Southern California. Soon after emigrating, Trev and Pat started a twenty-five year career together of supervising a property management company in Arkansas.
In 2017, celebrating retirement, Trev and Pat moved to Texas where they reunited with Joseph as a complete family. Before long, the desire to return home brought all three of them back to Cambridgeshire in June of 2023.
