It is with great sadness that we share the news that Marilyn has passed away.
She was a much loved wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunty, sister in law and friend.
Her strength, kindness and love defined her life and she will be missed immensely by all of us who loved her.
Marilyn's life took a life changing turn in 1997 when she had major surgery and a new heart valve inserted. This allowed her to live a full and active life - enjoying trips to David Lloyd, playing with her grandchildren,singing in Rock choir and many trips abroad.
In Marilyn's memory we are supporting the British Heart Foundation, which was a charity she supported for many years.
