Mrs Maureen Elizabeth Scales was born on 24th September 1941 to Ronald and Ivy Janes.
She was born and lived in the Park Street area her entire life, where she took great pride in keeping her house, and especially her garden, looking beautiful and pristine. She loved her garden and spent many happy days tending to it.
She sadly passed away on 14th October 2026.
She married Norman Lennon John Scales on 3rd February 1962, and they shared over 60 years of marriage together.
She was a wonderful, loving Sister mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Nan will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nan was diagnosed with dementia in 2018, and in her memory, we would be grateful for any donations to DementiaUK.
