It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Robertson Macpherson, on Sunday 15th February 2026 at Marie Curie Hospice, Bishopbriggs after a short but brave battle with cancer. Allan passed peacefully surrounded by his family. Allan was a husband to Meg (Margaret) and a father to Fiona, Ali & Morag. A Father-in-Law to Andrew, Bob & Rory. A Papa to Morven, Struan, Freya & Brody. An uncle to Carl. A Brother-in-Law to Lesley, Trevor, Barbara, Caroline and Alan, and a friend to many, many more during his wonderful life.
Details of the services to celebrate Allan's life are below and you are warmly invited to attend. Allan's wishes were for colourful attire at his funeral, so please do not feel obliged to wear black.
The family invites you to enjoy refreshments after the service at Woodhill in the lower hall.
