Mavis Coxe, beloved wife of the late Ron Coxe, passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories.
Born in Hawarden in 1938, Mavis grew up in Garden city, later making her home in Connah’s Quay from 1962 onwards, where she became a well-known and much-loved member of the community.
Mavis was a devoted mum to Lindsey and her late son Andrew, and a much-loved mother-in-law to Bradey. She was an amazing and proud nan to Taylor, who brought her endless joy.
Family was at the heart of everything Mavis did. She treasured the time spent with her loved ones, creating memories that will be held close forever. She also had a great passion for travel and adventure, enjoying many holidays over the years—from relaxing cruises to coach trips, and especially the special times spent in Spain, where she would spend six or seven weeks each year with her family at their home.
Mavis was loved by so many people and touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and caring nature.
She will be deeply missed, but forever remembered with love.
