Peacefully at Torry Care Home on Friday May 15, 2026, Sidney, aged 94 years.
Beloved husband of the late Annabell (nee Davidson) and dear friend of the late Sheila Scott.
Adored father of Janice, father-in-law of Charlie, a dear uncle and friend.
Sid was a long standing amateur radio enthusiast, also the past service manager of Pye and Philips Telecom, Aberdeen and president of the Aberdeen Widow and Widowers Club.
The family wish to express their gratitude to the staff at Torry Care Home for the loving way they looked after Sid during his final years.
Interment at Strichen Cemetery on Monday June 1 at 10am, thereafter a service at Devana Parish Church, Fonthill Road, Aberdeen at 12 noon, to which all friends are respectively invited.
Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be given at the church door for the Residents Well Being Fund at Torry Care Home.
