It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Josephine (Josie) Herbert, who, after demonstrating great resilience and strength, left us peacefully in the comfort of her boys on Tuesday, 15th July 2025, aged 87.
Beloved Mum, Grandma, Sister, Auntie and friend; Josie is now reunited with her darling husband Pat.
In the last 3 months, since returning to Cambridge, her birth County, Josie was welcomed and warmly looked after by both staff and residents of Saxon Manor Care Home, where not a minute passed without her listening and singing to her much-loved music and cherished memories made.
Josie's passing leaves a void in our hearts, but with memories that will fill that space.
Forever held in our hearts.
*For those attending the Service, please wear traditional smart black or dark attire, with a splash of colour if you so wish, to represent Josie's love of flowers.
