Gordon Kenneth Saunders sadly passed away on Thursday 15th August 2024 at West Cornwall Hospital, Penzance aged 92 years. Born in Oldbury, West Midlands a proud Black Country man and a lifelong West Bromwich Albion supporter. Gordon was an Engineer at AS Rolling Mills, Cradley Heath until he moved to Falmouth with his family to run Trevethan Stores. Following this he worked as a Foreman for the Manpower Services dismantling the boat known as 'The Lump' on Penryn river. He went on to work for Carrick Services until his retirement. Gordon was a keen gardener whose rose garden captured much admiration and many compliments from those that passed by his home earning him the name of Rose Man.
Reunited with his beloved wife Jean. Will be forever missed by his Daughter Helen, Grandson Jay, Great Grandsons Marlo and Jonah, Brothers Brian and Colin and all his Nieces and Nephews.
