It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Hynam on the 15th of September 2026.
He passed away peacefully at home, aged 84 years and his love, care and wonderful sense of humour will be very deeply missed.
His funeral is taking place on the 15th of October at 12:45 at Canford Crematorium. We invite family, friends and everyone else who’d had the pleasure of meeting him, to join us in celebrating his life. The service will be followed by a light buffet at Henbury Golf Club and a chance to browse photos and share wonderful memories of Richard over the years.
If possible, please wear a splash of autumn colour!
Family flowers only please but if you would like to, a charity donation in Richard's honour can be made to the Amyloidosis Research Fund and Avon Orthopaedic Centre. Both charities were of great support during his life and no donation is too small. Donations may be given at the funeral or online via Gift Wheel which is a fundraising platform that allows us to split donations between two charities.
