Kieran Smith died on 15th October 2025, aged 59 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.
Kieran was genuinely one of a kind. He faced his battle with a rare form of brain cancer exactly how he faced anything else in life: with research, unwavering commitment, profound optimism, and a truly huge amount of bravery. He was a remarkable example of strength. His energy, positivity and kindness touched the lives of the many who knew him.
Kieran was very much loved by his family and will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. We will be celebrating his life on Tuesday 4 November.
