Brigid sadly passed away at home in Loddon in the early hours of Thursday 15th October 2026, aged 64 years, with Marcus, her devoted husband of over 25 years, by her side. A beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunty, god-mother, and a dear friend to so many – Brigid will be forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for the funeral service and afterwards for a wake in the Sunningdale Suite at Dunston Hall (from 2:30pm to 6pm, with the option to remain for those who wish to stay until later). There is ample parking, and lifts can be arranged from Greenacres to Dunston Hall for those without their own means of transport. There will be some light refreshments provided at the wake, with the option to purchase more drinks from the private bar in the Sunningdale Suite, as required. We want the day to be more about celebrating Brigid's life and positive influence, rather than the sorrow we all feel at her loss. For this reason we ask that black attire is avoided or at the very least minimised. Thank you!
