It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Chris, who left us on Saturday,15th November 2025, surrounded by those closest to him while in the excellent care of Cornhill MacMillan Hospice at Perth Royal Infirmary.
A much-loved family member and a dear friend to so many, Chris was someone who would do absolutely anything to help, support, and protect the people in his life. Whether coaching the local junior football team, encouraging the next darts or pool prodigy, singing karaoke at the end of the night, dancing wildly in the pub or someone's living room, offering a listening ear, or giving strength and guidance to those who needed it - that was our Chris, that was our Midnight!
Full of joy, colour, and unmistakable laughter, Chris was known for his bright ad brilliantly coordinated outfits - dazzling pinks, or bright greens, or whatever took his fancy that day. In honour of his vibrant spirit, we warmly encourage attendees to dress with the theme "A Splash of Colour". Please feel free to wear or carry something bright, just as he would have wanted.

Those wishing to accompany family and close friends are welcome to attend committal following the church service. Transport Arrangements: Two 53-seater buses, have been hired and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Route: Auchterarder Parish Church - Perth Crematorium - Auchterarder Bowling Club. Buses will depart from the vicinity of Auchterarder Parish Church at 1.30pm sharp (no exceptions). The only place to reserve seats is the list behind the bar at The Golf Club Inn. Only those whoes names are on the list may travel on the buses; others wishing to attend the crematorium service should make their own arrangements. After the committal service, the buses will return to Auchterarder Bowling Club. For those not attending the crematorium service, Auchterarder Bowling Club will be open directly after the church service for the drinks and food reception, please join us and spend the afternoon exchanging and sharing fond memories.
