It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of the Former Mayor of Bedford, Mr Derek Jones, who passed away at home on Saturday 15th November 2025, age 81, after a short period of ill health.
Husband of Aline (deceased), lately partner to Kathleen, Dad to Angela and Simon, Father-in-Law to Richard and Debbie, Grandad to Christopher and Wife Emily, and adored Great Grandad to Freya.
