It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Newton, aged 92.
'Auntie Kath' led a long and happy life, but will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
A funeral service will be held near Hitchin, her home for the last 24 years. At a later date there will be a small gathering up in Staintondale, North Yorkshire, to inter her ashes in the grave with her late husband Kenneth Newton.
Donations, rather than flowers, are invited for Macmillan cancer support.
