It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Peter O'Grady who died on 16thFebruary aged 77 years. He will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Everyone knows Pete was a passionate and lifelong supporter of Manchester City. He loved watching football, no matter who was playing. Pete's final request is that mourners wear a football shirt representing their chosen team to the funeral. However, I must apologise and kindly ask Manchester United supporters (there won't be many) not to wear their shirts. Some things will never change—he wouldn’t have allowed it while he was alive, and he wouldn’t want it at his funeral.
