It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mum, Carol Barnes, born in East Barnet, who peacefully passed away on 16th February 2026, aged 82 years, at Poppy Lodge, Maurice House, Broadstairs, Kent, after her long journey with mixed dementia.
Mum was a caring and kind lady who always put others before herself. She was a devoted wife, a loving mum, and a proud and cherished nan. Her warmth, strength, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
It is now time for her to rest in peace, free from pain. May she follow that bridge to heaven and begin a new journey reunited with her loving husband Ron, her parents, and her dearest friends – all together once more with the angels.
