It is with great sadness that we announce that Joseph (Joe) Sweeney passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on 16th October 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
A loving husband of the late Stella, devoted dad to Joseph, Sean and Shannon and much loved grandad to Lyle. He was also a dear brother and brother in law who will be sadly missed by all he knew and loved him.
Funeral mass will take place at 10a.m. on Thursday 5th November at St Laurence's R.C. Church, followed by burial at Knocknairshill Cemetery.
Family and friends are then invited to join the family at the Clyde Suite for refreshments and to share memories of Joe.
