It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Anthony Hunter. We are blessed with loving memories which will continue to live on of a dear husband, dad, grandad and great-grandad.
Les was a loyal family man who became reunited on Thursday 17th April 2025 with his brothers, sisters, family and friends that he had not seen in a long time to continue his 89th birthday celebrations.
We will commemorate his death and invite you to celebrate his life with us on Thursday 15th May.
Les will make his last journey from his home, calling one last time down the lane before making his way to Pontefract Crematorium.
The wake will be held at Pontefract Bowling Club where we will share memories, stories and raise a pint of John Smiths in honour of a true Yorkshire man, who did it his way, right until the very end.
