Mr Derek Wakefield-Brown
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr Derek Wakefield-Brown announces his passing after a long illness on 17th May 2025, aged 75 years.
Derek passed away peacefully at home in Gloucestershire. He will be greatly missed by his wife Gillian, daughter Abi (Tom), son Dominic (Rebecca), and grandson Tristan.
Derek was Conservation Officer for Gloucester City Council for 26 years, where he founded a rare breeds farm at Robinswood Hill, and St James City Farm in Tredworth. He was an avid cricket, football, and rugby, enthusiast.
The funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Stroud at 10:45am on Thursday 12th June, all are welcome to attend.
