Mr David Victor Newman

3rd June 1950 - 17th June 2025

No flowers please

It’s with an incredibly heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Dave, on Tuesday morning, 17th June 2025.

He had been battling dementia for several years and more recently suffered a broken hip after a fall. His body could fight no longer, and he passed away peacefully with Trevor and Amanda by his side.

Dave leaves behind three beautiful grown-up children β€” Barry, Trevor, and Amanda β€” as well as four cherished grandsons β€” Nathan, Seth, Zachary and Harrison. He was deeply loved, and his loss is felt profoundly by all who knew him.

Most importantly, Dave walked with Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. We take great comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Redeemer.

We are all finding this time incredibly hard, and we kindly ask for your prayers and support as we make arrangements to lay him to rest.

Rest in perfect peace, Dad. We love you always.

To honour his life, instead of floral tributes we've set-up a fundraising page for vital dementia research. Every donation will support efforts to better understand, treat, and one day cure this devastating disease.
