Eric, or Mad Eric as some of you may know him, sadly passed away on 17th June. A much loved Dad and Grandad he will be missed by all of those that knew him. He is now reunited with his beloved Lorna.
A man that was definitely one of life's characters. With a passion for fast cars, he managed to fulfill his dream of breaking the 200mph barrier on the Autobahn last year and reached a speed of 204mph - and it's things like this that earned him the nickname Mad Eric! This was after his MND diagnosis, he was never a man to be told that he couldn't do something.
You are all welcome to attend the service for Eric and to join the family after at the gathering at the Chequers Inn. The dress code for the funeral is smart/casual and if you have something that you feel reflects your relationship with Eric or pays tribute to him please feel free to wear that.
