Our mum, Sonia Von Geyer, (Stocken/Page) sadly passed on Tuesday 17th June 2025 with her family around her. She was surrounded with love, and ready to join those who have died before us. She was a parishioner at St Thomas More's Catholic Church, Patcham and known by many as an active member of the St Vincent De Paul Society, and providing clubs and lunches for our older folk.She also provided cross stitch classes to pupils at St Bernadettes Catholic Primary School (previously Lourdes Convent- where she attended as a child). She married Frederick Von Geyer (Fred) in 1986 who passed away 25 years ago, and previously Jim Stocken (father to Karen, David and Paul). Mum endeavoured to maintain her independence, having lived with a stroke for 25 years. She kept in contact with friends from the church, her neighbours, and family members and prayer group and Hand in Hand group. She leaves her children, grand children and great grand children. She was loved and she knew she was loved. "Eternal rest grant unto Sonia, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen" Feel free to join us to celebrate her life, and later burial at Old Shoreham Road Hove.
